Knowing

Well to me this is surely one of those movies you look and get blasting interested in the movie like hell! Can’t say Knowing is a movie for everyone, I really got a bit shocked when I watched it; it’s one of those movies that really get you from the heart and not from the eyes, just incredible.

Knowing as you see by the name is a movie based in a inexistent knowledge coming from somewhere else from outside of our world, you will surely love the story line to be honest.

UP

What a lovely name isn’t it? UP. Well this movie will surely take you UP in the sky and further away to a world of imagination. This movie comes featured with comedy, action and even a bit of romance and betray. I went to see the movie in Disney Digital 3D at cinemas but to be honest it wasn’t that much different from what I got in DVD other day.

My little sister already watched it a thousand times or even more than that and she isn’t of course the only one who did it, it’s a movie to watch and re-watch and even re-watch again! You and your family and friends will love it.

Meet UP and see what you are missing if you haven’t seen it yet! Go UP in the sky with UP from Walt Disney pictures, and like you know my favourite movie company for life (until they stop existing of course).

Race to Witch Mountain

This movie is a fantasy, aliens based film, it’s good to watch with everyone, it has some cool gadgets, action, and fiction and of course it’s a Disney movie. I know I love Disney movies because they’re the only ones that get applause at the end, as I’ve noticed before. This movie is really exciting and to be honest with you I kind of believe that there are lots of other living things in our universe.

Race to the Witch Mountain is great! You will love it and of course with the selected actors I am sure you will find it hard to miss it. Are really aliens that much different from us? Find out by watching this movie and you’ll adore it!

Bring it on: In to win it

If you fancy a good cheerleading movie with hot actors and a cool storyline, this is the movie for you. Bring it on, in to win it, is inspired in the reality from cheerleading, the movie is packed with lots of cheer-off’s and I am sure you will love it even if you don’t like Cheerleading.

Bring it on is not really one of the must see movies from my list, but can tell you it’s good to watch and to re-watch and even to dance at it. If your children, friends or family like cheerleading and a fun movie with comedy mixed up, show them Bring it on: In to win it.

Penelope

This is surely one of the cutest movies I’ve seen in my life, this movie brings you lot the experience that something bad can lead us to something amazing, Penelope is surely one of the must see movies from my list, I’ve seen it and can surely tell you that this is the movie everyone will love there at home, bring romance, fantasy and comedy together to make this movie one of my favourites (I know I have a huge list of favourites).

Penelope is a girl that had been cursed by a very old witch that simply cursed her family until the next girl of the family; this curse would bring the cursed person a defector such as a pig face.

EDISON

If you like action, EDISON is the movie for you. This movie is so amazing to be honest, it has amazing artists and actors in the film and also the story it’s great. Great action, great cars, weapons and storyline, it’s not really a must see movie, but it’s good to rent if you haven’t got any other movies to rent, though.

EDISON is a good movie and with Justin Timberlake acting with other great actors Morgan Freeman, this is going to be good. Have a quick look at the trailer or simply buy and watch the movie by yourself or with your family.

Juno

Juno, what can I say about this movie? Well, it’s what’s going on in the world at the moment based movie for sure, but it’s not a bad movie and also annoying one. Juno joins love, care and also comedy in a simply loveable and cute way to show.  

Ellen Page, which is surely one of the most beautiful teenage actresses in the world is starring as Juno a teenage girl that suffers from adulthood in getting pregnant and then giving the baby away to a couple that really wanted a baby.

The Dark Knight

Dark Knight is one of the many movies made based in comics and in this case Batman is the kind of comic we’re looking here. This movie is based in Joker’s story and how he got to meet Batman and the other Mob members.

Joker is technically the evil guy from the movie, and even though he looks like a clown he isn’t a clown at all, he’s very smart and agile, he only wears that clown make-up because he cut his cheeks with a knife just to make himself looking happy.

The movie is a good 2 hours and 30 minutes movie, it’s just so incredible and amazing, I personally liked the way they made this story start and end and I am sure you all will do. If you want to know more about this movie why don’t you just simply watch it?

Gamer

Gamer is a movie based in todays and future’s technology and the affects it’s causing to people from around the world; it’s one of the greatest movies I’ve seen to be honest with you. It’s just amazing though, it can easily show the power that internet can have in some years and I’m sure somehow sometime we will get this technology in our lives or our descendants.

This movie is based on the new technologies like Massive Multiplayer Online games such as Second Life, and war based games. It has an amazing storyline as well and I just loved it! I really would love to have that much technology that they have got on the movie itself, but oh well, I think we shall wait.

When I saw this movie trailer, well I confess I didn’t actually think this was a good movie at all. But when I got into that cinema room and sit comfortable and saw one of the most amazing movies of all time, I got ‘mouth-opened’. Believe me or not the money used to make this movie was surely the best money used in movies I’ve seen in my entire life. This movie is just not about the graphics, which are just stunning, brilliant and spectacular, but also because of the story and the actual creation of an entire new world with a made-up language. This, my friend is what I call a movie!

Avatar was directed by one of my favourite directors of all time; he made the Titanic and other awesome movies with heart-feeling stories that everyone I know love and re-watches a lot of times. Avatar’s new world is called Pandora, a place where everything’s possible and everything’s connected by the creatures and habitants from that planet, it’s a world to dream in living in it. Full of danger, fantasy and awesomeness, I wish I could actually go for holidays there; I might never come back alive though…

Unfaithful

Unfaithful is a romance and betraying based movie. The story line bases in some real life facts. In my opinion this movie makes everyone think of not being faithful with the person you actually love, and also shows that we all should love the person that we choose to be with us for all life and not just threat it as a person to be at home taking care of our children.

I fell in love with this story, and also the actors. It’s one of the greatest romance movies I’ve seen in my life, though. Great scripts, great story and of course great performance from the actors. It is for me a must see! And also a good storyline with something to tell us.

Ice Age 1, 2 & 3

As I have a 5 year old sister, she likes to watch the animated movies from all kinds of companies, such as Dream Works, Disney Pixar, Paramount, Universal, etc. But the series of movies that she watches more is of course Ice Age. We’ve got the complete series from 1 to 3 and it’s actually one of my favourite movies as well.

I fell totally in love with Ice Age 1, it was an amazing movie that shows you bits of history and also comedy that made me laugh continuously specially my favourite character Scratch, the funny Squirrel from the Ice Age. It can make everyone laugh, but I mean really everyone even my grandmother laughed at its jokes and comedy.

When I heard that Ice Age 2 was coming out I felt like “I wanna see that!” and while jumping on my living room the TV start to show the trailer and me and my family just sit down and ‘shush’.  I went to see it at cinema, and to be honest with you I think it was one of the best movies I’ve seen in my life, everybody was like “Ice Age 2 can never be funnier than Ice Age 1” but that wasn’t the opinions after they see it.

Ice Age 3 is the most recent one from the saga, and I’ve already got it in DVD, and my sister already seen it more than 100 times. I went to see this movie also in the cinema when I went to Portugal on holidays, and I laughed and laughed and laughed again. It’s funny in both languages and of course this movie introduces Scraté the lovely squirrel that Scratch falls in love with. Their love is jokes to be honest, it is a must see for sure!

The Princess and The Frog

This movie is old stories based films from Disney, but with a different story. I went to watch it yesterday at cinema and to be honest with you lot this movie is ‘jokes’, you laugh almost in all parts of the movie, it’s made by Walt Disney Studios, so just by that is an amazing movie.

I used to have a big collection of Walt Disney VHS in my house, and this story reminds me of Beauty and the Beast, with a bit of Alladin and Cinderella together. The story was well made and meant to be funny, you will love this movie, because I did and I can’t stop talking about it now. So why don’t you get yourself into the closest cinema and watch it fast, before it’s gone.

The movie is in 2-D but the graphics and the characters drawing are easily detected by being Disney drawn, and of course I must not forget that people clapped at this movie yesterday when it finished. It is surely a movie filled with emotion. Hope you like it, like I did.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon

New Moon is based on a book written by Stephenie Meyer, called New Moon (from the Twilight Saga). This is the following scenes of the movie Twilight in this one Edward leaves Bella until the end of New Moon’s story, and I can say that this movie actually has a special ending that only you can see it by watching the movie yourself. I can tell you, that is going to persuade you in watching the upcoming Twilight Saga movie.

In this movie you can meet the Team Jacob and Team Edward, names given by the fans, fans rather choose them by the best looking actor. While I was in the cinema the only thing that I heard while Jacob was taking is shirt off was “WOAH”, and I just start laughing at that. So I can say this movie is also a must see! And of course my sister is going to buy it in DVD or Blu-Ray, depending on the price though.

Twilight

Twilight is based in books series of Twilight, written by Stephenie Meyer, which also helped in the construction of the scripts and story of this move. In my opinion this movie’s audience is more for romantic people and of course people that fancy fantasy stories involving vampires, or simply just for people that love the actors, which I am sure lots of the Twilight Fans do.

This movie’s story is one of the bests I’ve seen, I’ve never read the books, but my sister told me that Twilight the movie is one of the best movies made, because it does actually follow the book’s story, as she said. I know we’re almost on the third movie of this saga, but still this movie’s review is always needed, because it was one of the most seen movies of the ends of 2008, and I look forward to watch the whole saga.

2012

2012 is related to some real made statements by some scientists from different countries. It’s all based in a theory made by the Mayans, an old civilization that created a super accurate calendar that predicted lots of different solar eclipses occurred along the years, but the thing is that this calendar ends in 21 of December 2012.

This movie brings you a lot of stunning graphics and action combined with love and also the stories from the Bible, in some way. This movie is so amazing that you will be suspended by the story and the way they make the parts of the planet just destroyed by the nature. Well, in my greatest opinion this movie is one of the bests of 2009 and I might buy it when it comes out in 2010, for sure. It’s a movie to keep forever so Blu-Ray it’s the best to think in buying.

Iron Man

Iron Man, the movie, is based on the Marvel stories of Iron Man. I’ve only watched this movie yesterday in Blu-Ray, and it’s one of the greatest movies made from Marvel and Paramount. It’s just amazing! I can easy say that the graphics used on this movie and the high-tech is amazing, especially for people that love Marvel stories such as Spiderman, Hulk, etc.

This is a movie to make you think of war in other countries and also that people have a lot of imagination and that they can easily create stuff that can be undetected by everything. Take a look at this movie now, because Iron Man 2 is coming out soon, and I won’t miss it for sure.

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra

I watched this movie yesterday, so I chosen it to be the first movie review I will do.

This movie has a lot of action, to be honest with you this is one of the best action movies ever! The high technology used on the movie is just amazing, the graphics and 3-D scenes are just blowing fantastic! I consider this is one of the Must See movies of 2009/2010. I am sure you will be suspended by the spectacular weapons and of course the story of G. I. JOE.
